We regret to announce the death of the founder of this website, Don Armando Vallarino D'Alfonso, on 12-23-20.

His relatives will try to take charge of maintaining this site, a reason of justified pride for him and to which he dedicated so many years of effort and affection.

ABOUT THIS WEBSITE

This website contains selected links that I have found useful to facilitate the search for information on the Internet. These chosen links will be updated periodically.

The name Carina corresponds to one of the stellar constellations of the southern hemisphere. The brightest star in this constellation is Canopus, which is at the same time the second brightest star in the sky after Sirius. Those interested in astronomy can see Carina here.

  A FINAL WORD

I devised and have maintained this site since 2002, however due to my advanced age (100 y.o.), I feel as it's about time to leave this site in the hands of younger relatives who will take care of it. Ximena Vallarino one of my daughters will be in charge from now on

As I bid farewell I would like to thank all of those who have used this website throughout all these years and especially make my gratitude extensive to VíARED who so generously have provided the hosting and technical support without which, perhaps this project would not have been possible.
